Set up the ice cream:
You want to start off with 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream or gelato. Whichever one you can find at your local grocery works fine. You want to pour these scoops into your glass. Make sure that the ice cream has been in the freezer as you don't want it to melt quickly, or it will ruin the recipe.
Set up the coffee:
For this part you want to have a shot of espresso ready, and you want to pour it into your glass. The goal is to have your scoops of ice cream drowning in coffee, hence the name affogato.
Add your toppings:
Your desert is almost done, all you have to do now is add some toppings. Feel free to get creative by adding your personal twist. But typically chocolate chips, and granola/crackers are an amazing addition!
